Designed for small- to mid-size construction machines, Talbert’s new fixed-neck trailer has a 10-inch road clearance to maximize headroom and a 30-inch loaded deck height, 40 inches for the rear bridge.
A 36-inch sloping beavertail with a 15-degree load angle coupled with full-width plate and traction bars outside the main beams optimizes rear loading.
Part of Talbert’s Double Drop Series, the 35FG-BVTL has an overall length of 48 feet. The deck is 8 feet 6 inches wide, with an 8-foot, 6-inch rear bridge section. Recessed cross members in the rear bridge allow for easy positioning of an excavator boom.
The fixed neck design is an economical alternative to gooseneck designs for contractors who don’t need a front unload operation. Deck material is apitong wood, chosen for its high strength and durability.
